STOP
THE MADNESS - Part 1 & 2!
GRAMMA'S
Founder Dounne Alexander, defends
Zara's Herbal Tea Advert against ASA ban!
On
15th March 2009, we were truly surprised and extremely disappointed
with the response received from the Advertising Standards Authority
(ASA), to our first advert promoting Zara's Herbal Tea. Published
for public record, they found the advert to be 'misleading, irresponsible
and likely to exploit the vulnerable'. They also stated that we
did not supply evidence to prove each of the conditions mentioned
in the advert.
Dounne
Alexander says "This we found quite disturbing, as we had
submitted substantial information.

MHRA
orders GRAMMA'S to stop production and sales of Zara's Herbal Tea
Within
two weeks of Dounne uploading her defence onto the Gramma's website,
she received a special notice from the Medicine and Herbal products
Regulartory Agency (associates of the ASA); demanding that she
'IMMEDIATELY' stop production and sales of Zara's Herbal Tea,
with no right to appeal; on the grounds that 'they' had declared it
a medicine.
For
the full story behind this case and to understand the truth behind
why perfectly safe herbal products (with proven healing benefits for
Cancer, Diabetes, Aids, Heart Disease etc) are being systematically
discredited and removed from public access read the STOP THE MADNESS
handout. Detailing this blatant and extreme case of the 'abuse
of power' which is killing small/medium business, ancient traditions
and with it consumer healthcare choice. Dounne is asking everyone
who is in aggreement to help her win this challenge, because if you
don't move now and Join Hands together, then the freedoms we have
enjoyed 'as our birth right' will be lost forever.
